Diamond
Diamonds come in many colors and although the most common is the white diamond. Historically, diamonds were believed to create a pathway to connection through intuition and vision with the Divine. Some believe this is why they were placed in the crowns of the kings and queens, as kings and queens were commonly thought of as the holders of the Divine Right on Earth. The physical properties of diamonds are that of densely packed carbon. Though they are hard to scratch they can break. Although diamonds are generally considered to be stable, if heated to very high temperatures with oxygen present, they dissolve or "vanish." Drilling a hole through a diamond with a laser is possible because of this chemical change. In other words though diamonds are very dense, they can translate. Diamonds are a basic element, which has been transformed into reflective, prismatic pure light. Metaphorically, diamonds are representative of dense bodies transmuting into spirit, or light bodies when appropriate intent, and proper conditions are present.
Diamonds are known, metaphysically, as stones of innocence, representing purity, clarity, and love. They have been known to exacerbate the state of energy of the wearer, positive or negative. Placed next to stones of color, diamonds are said to magnify the properties of those stones, along with one's intention. Most commonly, diamonds are thought of as solid, being symbolic of that which is lasting, true, pure and real, reflecting qualities of one's innocence--one's innermost self.
